As a small school we are increasingly dependent on donations and sponsorships from a variety of partners both locally and nationally. Business 2 Schools
We have been fortunate enough to work with the lovely people at Business 2 Schools this year. They rehome unwanted furniture, tech, furnishings and anything else from large businesses to support schools in need and help protect the environment by reducing the amount of waste going to landfill sites.
Capita donated 20 laptops for the children to use through Business 2 Schools.
By providing laptops to our school, Capita have helped us to support children whether they are at home or at school. We have been able to set and receive work from the children while they were away from school using Google Classroom, which is accessible through the devices provided to us. The donation of the laptops provided a vital link of communication and education to our children and their families who were unable to access home learning during our time of greatest need.
A huge thank you to Mr David Collins who saw the appeal on the BBC for people to donate equipment to schools, check that we were registered on Business 2 Schools and donated his old Laptop to us.
We would also like to thank Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for their donation of 10 Think pads.
Skore Labs Limited kindly donated teacher desks, chairs and drawer units to school.
Mr and Mrs Godfrey for donating a free standing white board and lots and lots of leaver arch files.
